MODEL RECOMMENDATIONS
Vikki Walker - I would just like to say how refreshing it is to work for a modelling agency that really has a friendly feel to it and looks after its models.

Charlotte Downs - I put a couple of snapshots online and the next day I had a call inviting me to a shoot. It went very well and my first modelling assignment followed a few of days later.

About Male Models:

male modelThe demand for male models has increased over the last decade and are now just as popular as females, advertising lifestyle products, business solutions, fashion and cosmetics. For many male models, modeling is an effective gateway into an acting career providing you with a portfolio to give you an edge over the competition.

There are different forms of male modeling that can offer a gateway into modeling for aspiring male models: catalogue, cosmetics, commercial print, and swimsuit. Catalogue models vary from height and weight, compared to high fashion models, which typically need to be at least 6 foot in height. Commercial male models also include plus-size models, the size of the model depends on the clothing. i.e. Plus sized models model for plus sized clothing. These models usually appear in catalogues. Commercial print male models promote clothing/products on billboards, buses, magazines and newspapers.

male modelSome male models specialize in having a particular portion of their body photographed, usually for advertisement purposes; thus "abs models" advertise male health, "face models" advertise products for male grooming.

Notable male models include Karl Lindman, Tyson Ballou, Freddie Ljungberg, Mark Vanderloo, Gabriel Aubry, Tyson Beckford, Jason Shaw, Ryan Locke and Alex Lundquist.
